Aisha Aijaz and Saad Khan’s My Bit for Ahmadi Phobia

by admin

Aisha Aijaz, whose pro-Jamaat Islami, pro-Imran Khan blog My Bit for Change (lovingly known as My Bit for Al Qaeda) was recently rewarded by army-style liberals as Pakistan’s best activist blog, has started showing her true colours.

My Bit for Change is a camouflaged platform for the pro-Hizbut Tahrir, pro-Jamaat Islami propaganda to attract and mislead the naive-minded Pakistanis. MBFC mourns for dozens of Al Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Arab and Uzbek militants killed in drone attacks but as a matter of policy it never highlights or condemns the ongoing target killing of Shia Muslims by the Jihadi-sectarian assets of Pakistan army. MBFC is also silent on the ongoing persecution and killing of other communities including the Balochs, Ahmadi Muslims and anti-Taliban Pashtoons.

Recently, M. Saad Khan, a key member of Aisha Aijaz’s blog (MBFC or MBFAQ), and his mentor Aisha Aijaz were seen on Twitter spitting hate speech against Ahmadi Muslims, supporting the Majlis-e-Khatam-e-Nabuwat, Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Sipah-e-Sahaba’s misleading and hateful propaganda against Ahmadi Muslims. Given the hateful, violent rally against Ahmadi Muslims in Rawalpindi on 29 January 2012, MBFC team has truly aligned itself with right-wing terrorists of JuD, SSP, AMTKN, LeJ etc.

Here is a transcript of their Tweets:

We condemn threats to Ahmadi Muslims in Rawalpindi. We urge the Punjab govt to provide full protection to Ahmadis and punish the harassers.

@abidbeli Highlighting and condemning sectarian target killing is not firqa-bandi. Samjhay? pakistanblogzine.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/hhqqp.…

  5. Where is Aisha Aijaz’s ‘spitting hate speech’? Can’t see any hatred in her tweets :s ??

  6. @Haider Ali

    Three facts:

    1. Aisha Aijaz raised no objection over his team member’s poisonous propaganda against Ahmadis;
    2. She refused to explain why her blog has been totally silent on Ahmadi persecution and Shia killing?
    3. She tagged all those people in her response who themselves are hate speakers against Ahmadi Muslims.

Yes, she is not as blunt as Malik Ishaq but she is a refined Ahmadi-phobe, not unlike her friend Awab Alvi and other JI-PTI types.

    • Frankly speaking, i read all the blogs of MBFC. I never found any hate speech whatsoever. Their blogs are targeting positive change always. The contributor you have mentioned have written an awesome blog about Korean development and the lessons that Pakistan can learn from it. I guess you people are spreading hate yourself. Never saw anything like that on MBFC.

  7. THIS IS SUCH A BIG LIE ADMINNNN

””My Bit for Change is a camouflaged platform for the pro-Hizbut Tahrir, pro-Jamaat Islami propaganda to attract and mislead the naive-minded Pakistanis.

Given the hateful, violent rally against Ahmadi Muslims in Rawalpindi on 29 January 2012, MBFC team has truly aligned itself with right-wing terrorists of JuD, SSP, AMTKN, LeJ etc.””

  8. She is no phobe guys. You guys see everyone with the same eye. The eye of hatred!!. I am a shia but have no problem with AIsha or mybitforchange. :s You’ll lose your credibility like this. She has shared news and articles on her facebook forum. she has condemned racism and calling people ‘kafir’. please get ur facts right. in fact she tweeted today in #awsomethings about pakistan trend, about dr abdulSalam. careful guys!

  9. @Haider Ali

Really? Aisha Aijaz mourns Aafia Siddiqi, Arab and Chechen victims of drone attacks but she could not find a few minutes to condemn the systematic target killing of thousands, repeat thousands, of Shias killed by ISI-backed sectarian beasts. Why?

By the way, you are a Shia? Go ask her about her views on Ashura. She completely wipes out Ashura, martyrdom of Imam Hussain and Muharram from her facebook page while she is keen to write on all other pure Islamic topics.

Shias are impure Muslims in her eyes, and Ahmadis are non-Muslims in her eyed. Don’t believe me? Ask her!!!!

  10. I am deeply shocked by this blog , which is trying to paint Aisha Aijaz the winner of the Blog awards like this. I have read most of the blogs on My Bit for change and for me who is a practising Shia the blogs are really rich and well written. They give the image of Aisha being a caring person with a lot of decation towards all community of Pakistan. I would trust my life in the hands of Aisha rather than any one who is condeming her.
THis sensless and fabricated attacks her sould stop and all of you should look at yourselves. you allow corruption and human rights to continue whilst all you can do is write about them. Come in to the practical world and stop these silly childish playground tactics!!

  11. I am not a Shia or an Ahmadi. Yet, I am amazed why can’t Aisha Aijaz or her flatterers answer one plain question: MBFC has written on Aafia and drones? Yes. Any post on Ahmadi persecution or Shia killings? No. Why?

Also, why does she consider Ashura of Hazrat Hussain (R.A.) as improper Shia ritual?

Will anyone care to answer these questions at all?

  12. Ch Azamat sahib! Shias are not being killed by ISI ,, In Quetta we are being murdered by BLA a terror group. The same group targets Sunnis, Punjabism Hindustani and settlers too.. their is no issue in Punjab or KP.. or Sindh,, In Karachi its a turf war and nothing to do with faith.. in Northern areas the Khwarji group is funded by US and India.. and we have proof re this. We Shia have no problems and feel we can work with our brother to rid misunderstandings.
Our own militant group Sipah Muhamamad is also to be condemned. all the terrror groupss are in the hands of US and India!! The attack on Kabul shrine was an attack by US to spread secetarian strife. What they forot was that even in taliban era we Shia had not problems!!!!

  13. How do you guys define a hate speech? mujhey tu is pori blog mein Aisha Aijaz ki koi aik tweet nazar nai ai, jis se hate zahir hota ho ? Come on guys, get a life. There are alot of shias who are fans of MBFC. I guess the mandate of MBFC is to contribute towards positive change instead of creating divisions. If Shias are killed, they are also Pakistanis. Why to portray them as shias? They are equally muslims and Pakitanis. Grow up please

  14. This is as sick as it gets. I feel nauseated. Whoever the ADMIN is…how can you be such a blatant liar? This is extreme dishonesty. Just because you can type and got access to internet , does not give you right to spread and tell lies about anyone. Shameful.
Your only agenda is to create division and hatred among different communities. Wonder what makes you do this? Your logic … if someone hasn’t written on what is important to you …makes the person a partner in crime, is so flawed. I have never read a word to condemn Kashmiris. Palestenians and Afghanis … should I conclude that you are a supporter of Indian/Israeli/American brutalities ?
What a twisted brain…how can you invent all these stories? How can you judge someone? Wish there was a way to cleanse internet of this crap!!!

  15. One of my friends told me that ISI has hired many apologist who adopt Shia or Baloch names to spread lies on the internet. I have been told that Anjum Kiani, Lashkar Bugti, Pak Baloch, Humza Baloch etc are some such persons. Wallah Aalam.

Anyway, there is not much that can be done with apologists of ISI, JI, PTI and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. Here is one proof:

Highlighting and condemning sectarian target killing is not firqa-bandi or sectarianism!

Now open your eyes. It is LeJ (ask SSP aka ASWJ) which is killing Shias.

Open your eyes, it is the same group which declares Shias as Kafirs.

Now open your eyes, it is the same group which is supported by Imran Khan and ISI:

    Enough?

  16. This is as sick as it gets. I feel nauseated. Whoever the ADMIN is…how can you be such a blatant liar? This is extreme dishonesty. Just because you can type and got access to internet , does not give you right to spread and tell lies about anyone. Shameful.

  17. If Aisha Aijaz has kept silent on Shia genocide or Ahmadi persecution, perhaps she should break the silence and write clear, not vague, posts on these topics.

  18. @Ahmad

Afghan, Kashmir or Palestine are outside Pakistan. Why can’t Aisha write on her own Pakistani fellows, Shia Muslims, Pakistan’s largest target killed faith group, who are being killed purely due to their faith.

    Shame on apologists and liars!

  21. A milestone achieved!

Jan 6th, 2012 | By Aisha Aijaz | Category: Featured, Latest, Media Watch

‘My Bit for Change’ has achieved a big milestone in the form of Best Activist Award at Pakistan Blog Awards 2011. With the highest number of votes on the nomination, MBFC topped the category.

With nearly 22,000 facebook fans in a short span of 10 months, MBFC is expanding every day with a new spirit. Every little bit towards change is helpful. But what do we call ‘change’? To us, change needs to start from within, of course without ignoring the responsibility of changing the environment. Both need to be worked upon, in parallel. In a world where social media is playing its role of breaking and leaking facts, spreading news about injustices and oppression, (hidden by the corporate media) and overthrowing brutal dictators, every one of us has a responsibility. As we say ‘We are not responsible to change the whole world, but we’ll surely be questioned about our bit if it could help and our silence where a word mattered most.’’

MBFC introduced ‘different blogging’ based on morals, values and mental decolonization, hard to find on conventional media. Unless we stand on our feet and represent and take pride in our identity, the world will always look down upon us. We’ve shared news of the oppressed from Palestine and Kashmir, pictures as they happen whether it’s Pakistan, Gaza or Wall Street, injustices and double standards of neo colonial forces, Islamophobia, casualties of innocent people due to home grown terrorism or this ‘War of terror’, quotes of the learned, revolutionary poetry of Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Habib Jalib, and Manzar Bhopali (from India), liberating and enlightening verses of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Hadith and the Quranic Verses. We have posted content to bring different faiths and ethnic groups together as we strongly believe in spreading love because life is too short to hate anyone and besides, hatred and parting only weakens us and serves enemies’ interests. Also, we strive to stitch the moral fabric of the society ripped apart by conventional media.

MBFC which started as one personal blog has transformed into a blogging forum with its ‘writers family’ growing incredibly because all of us want to ‘speak and get it out of the system’ for the better.

‘In the times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act’’ ~ George Orwell

We owe a word of thanks to Pakistan Blog Awards for providing all the bloggers a platform helping them to get encouragement and recognition. We also owe a word of thanks to those 22,000 fans who add their bits every day and the people who voted for us and cherished our victory.

But most of all, we are extremely grateful to Almighty Allah and pray that he accepts every little effort to bring about positive change in the society. We are more humbled by this achievement and are fully aware that the responsibility has only increased. But ‘together we can do it’. You are the real force behind our success and it’s just the beginning of the path towards the goal. Keep bringing your bits, write when it hurts and raise your voice. It matters!

    http://www.mybitforchange.org/2012/a-milestone-achieved/

    LOL

  22. Its just a jealousy in the critic’s heart who couldn’t digest the award won by Aisha Aijaz. I pity on u, may Allah give u Hedaayat. Or thanday paani main lemo daal k piya karo, andar ka bukhaar kam ho ga.

And Aisha, you don’t have to worry about such false criticisms of some morons. Its just their frustration on the success of MFBC. Khasyaani billi khamba nochay.

  23. where is the hate speech??? silence on killing of ahmadi’s & shia’s… this silence is the only proof??

thousands of kashmiris were brutally killed & significant human rights violations but u ppl never bothered to write abt it. why shia’s & ahmadi’s only?? y nt for 20000 pukhtoons? y nt kashmiri ppl? y nt palestinian ppl. ur silence on killings of kashmiri&pushtoon ppl prove tht u support these killings??? childish!

pohunche hain jo apnii manzil par un ko to nahin kuch naaz-e-safar
chalana bhee jinhain aata hee nahi raftaar kii baatain karte hain!

  24. There is something fundamentally wrong about the name calling and assigning labels and this immature approach to things leads to a breakdown of any communication. I have followed my bit for change for time and absolutely disagree with this. I rarely contribute and here is the last few lines of my contribution “I will let the image of this family of three plays out in my mind walking through a church, finding them sitting in a synagogue the next moment, kneeling in a temple and yes praying five times in a mosque.” The only motivation is to raise awareness of social issues and motivate the youth. Yes, Pakistan is a muslim majority country and the aspirations of the majority to have a state that facilitates their spiritual journeys is going to be reflected in the social media and blogs but the knee jerk assumption of any mention of Islam in our collective lives being a call to arms is only going to kill the dialogue. Who is safe in Pakistan? Sunnis? Shias? hindus? Deobands? Barelvis? Does a bomb going off in a crowded market forewarn the sunnis to stand aside and be safe? In a society where law and order has broken down the most vulnerable like the minorities including the Qadiyanis, Hindus and of course women are going to be most vulnerable …. the minorities are not struggling for anything different from what the blog promotes!

  25. @Ahmed What about a bomb going off in an Ashura procession? Do it needs to inform sunnis to be on one side? MBFC might be promoting many positive things in society but at the same time being winner of ‘social’ blogger they need to highlight the target killing of shias who are part of the society…mentioning shahadat of hazrat Uer on 1st Muharram and “forgetting” shahadt of Imam Hussain as (Syed-o-Shohada), is it not straight hypocrisy??

The other thing is her blog is like PTV (sab acha hay). You are not allowed to criticise any post…if you do you will be kicked out…

I am amazed how Pakistanblogzine admin let so much criticism published against them on their own blog…can you expect the same thing from other blogs such as MBFC???

For me, this is thing is clear that atleast Pakistanblogzine is not hypocrite!

  26. Aisha Aijaz, of My Bit of Al Qaeda”, is in denial about who is killing Shias in Pakistan. Here is her blog post on News Tribe:

    Sectarian Killings – Who benefits
By Aisha Aijaz – Aug 19th, 2012 (No Comment)

I knew big Satan was chained during this holy month but I forgot that there are many amongst us, wolves disguised as sheep. Everyday Pakistan has depressing news to face. While most of us are preparing for Eid, some of the homes are preparing for funerals of their loved ones, crying and screaming. While most are repenting in this holy month, some have willingly opted hellfire for themselves.
Sectarian killings are on the rise. Anyone can see they are programmed and planned. Gilgit incident and thenKarachi blast on a rally, and a lot more in the recent past. Why? Is someone taking responsibility? Is a religious scholar encouraging it? Does a common Sunni have a problem with a Shia classmate, neighbour or a colleague?
    NO!
-Then, who are these militants? Where have they come from? Who are they working for? What agenda they are after?
-Who benefits from a weak Pakistan? Who benefits out of a broken, disunited nation?
-Who is inciting hatred between us and what do they get out of it?
-Who is labelling us as Shia, Sunni, and Minority?
Killing of an innocent human being is actually the killing of humanity. I would say it is worse than being an animal. No animals kill their kind.
It’s impossible to rule out conspiracy theories completely as they have always existed and become all the more stronger underlying factor when you have made many enemies by becoming an ally of a power that is only a friend of her own and is revered nowhere in the world.
Of course, the killers are from us. And when one says they can’t be Muslims, it doesn’t mean they are Non- Muslims or outsiders, but it’s a statement to make it loud and clear that Islam has nothing to do with it. It clearly sends the message to the barbaric hyenas that whatever your names, faiths or outfits are; killings and chaos are not taking you to paradise.
In an unsafe Pakistan, with attacks on shrines, funeral prayers, labelled casualties and just-a-number collateral damage, drone attacks, bomb blasts, a helpless nation, with no government to look up to for help, can only pray in despair :
May the wrath of God fall upon the killers of the innocent and the conspirators against our nation.
