It is a shame how Pakistani State is trying to stop its own citizens from practising their faith. Ahmadiyya Muslims in Pakistan are facing persecution and violence ever since the Islamo-fascist Objectives Resolution was adopted in March 1949 which led to fascist and puritanical intervention of the State into citizens’ faith related affairs.
We urge Pakistan PM Gilani, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and Army Chief General Kayani to pay urgent attention to the harassment of Ahmadiyya Muslims in Rawalpindi and ensure that they are able to practice their faith in their mosque free from all forms of harassment and violence.
