Who is being killed: Shia Muslims. Shia Muslims are being killed only because of their faith identity (i.e., Shia sect). Shias of all ethnic groups across Pakistan (including Punjabi, Pashtoon, Sindhi, Baloch, Muhajir, Hazara, Gilgiti, Balti etc) are being equally targeted. Contrary to what some ethnic groups claim (e.g. some Hazara nationalist leaders in Quetta who due to political expediency or ISI’s influence give it an ethnic colour), Shias of all ethnicities are being target killed across Pakistan.

Why are Shias being killed? Shias are being killed because of two reasons: sectarian and political. (1) Sectarian reasons:  According to extremely sectarian Doebandi organizations (Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (also camouflaged as Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ or Lashkar-e-Jhangvi LeJ), Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM), Jundullah, Taliban etc) Shias are infidels (kafir) and a Jewish inspired deviation of Islam (Sabai Fitna). The militant Deobandi organizations are in turn influenced by the anti-Shia ideology imported from Salafi (Wahhabi) mullahs of Saudi Arabi.  (2) Political reasons: Shias are also being killed due to political reasons because Pakistan’s military establishment considers Shia Muslims as a major obstruction in the way of Pakistan army’s international Jihadist agenda. Not unlike moderate Barelvis, Shia Muslims have refused to participate in Pakistan army sponsored Jihadi-militant activities in Afghanistan, India and other countries. Pashtoon Shias of Parachinar and Hazara Shias of Balochistan (as well as Afghanistan) have refused to surrender to radical Deobandi-Wahhabi Jihadi-sectarian militants sponsored by Pakistan army.

Who is killing Shias? Contrary to what Shia mullahs and activists usually allege, Shias are not being target killed by Wahhabi or Salafi terrorists, at least not directly.  In almost all of the instances, foots soldiers of SSP-ASWJ-LeJ are involved in Shia killings in Pakistan. Almost all of the terrorists who are practically involved in Shia killings are radicalized Deobandis who work in one or more than one Deobandi organizations including Taliban, SSP, LeJ, ASWJ, JeM etc. The boundaries between these organizations are amorphous and overlapping. In other words, a radical Deobandi terrorist may kill a Shia Muslim one day in Karachi as a part of the SSP-ASWJ network, and the next week he may be busy in fighting the NATO forces in Kandahar under the Taliban banner. (It must be noted that radical Deobandi militants are only a minority group; they do not represent the majority of Deobandis who are as peaceful and moderate as are other Sunnis, Shias, Ahmadis etc.)

Who is the mastermind behind Shia killing? Contrary to what Iranian foreign policy-influenced Shia mullahs might claim, USA and Israel have no role in Shia killings in Pakistan, at least not directly. The Shia killing is being enabled by Pakistan army because it provides major infrastructural and organizational support to anti-Shia Jihadi-sectarian groups in terms of their training, provision of arms, protection from arrest and courts, censorship in media etc. Currently, Pakistan army is enabling further Shia killings by supporting the Defence of Pakistan Council (Difa-e-Pakistan) which is a union of vehemently anti-Shia Deobandis and Wahhabi organizations (including SSP-ASWJ-Lej and JuD-LeT). The ideological and financial support to radical Deobandi organizations (the foot soldiers) is being provided by governmental and non-governmental Salafi-Wahhabi organizations of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries.

What can Pakistan’s Shias do to save themselves from further killings?

  1. Apply for licensed (legal) weapons and forcefully defend themselves in case any ASWJ-LeJ-SSP terrorist attacks them in their offices, cars, mosques, markets, religious gatherings etc
  2. Clearly identify the killers (foot soldiers are brainwashed, radicalized Deobandis; protectors and supporters of killers are Pakistan army generals; financiers of killers are Salafi-Wahhabi mullahs of Saudi Arabia and Arab Gulf countries);
  3. Clearly highlight the identity of the killed community (Shias are being target killed not due to their ethnicity but due to their faith);
  4. Reject the sold out ethnic leaders (e.g., some Hazara national leaders with known links with Pakistan’s military establishment) as well as sold out Shia Mullahs (e.g., those who want to promote Iranian foreign policy at the cost of Pakistani Shias’ lives). Both of these groups (ethnic leaders and Iranian-influenced mullahs) are not helping Shias in clearly identifying the killed and the killers.
  5. Organize and present reliable data on attacks on and murders of Shia Muslims (date, place, event, number of killed, number of injured, details of killed and injured (name, age, gender, profession) etc);
  6. Liaise with Pakistani and international media (Urdu and English) as well as human rights organizations to create awareness about the ongoing and systematic target killing of Shia Muslims;
  7. Coordinate and organize mutual support with other oppressed, target killed or persecuted groups (e.g., Balochs, anti-Taliban Pashtoons, Ahmadis, Christians, Barelvis etc).

    KARACHI: Deploring that the government and the local administration were not able to provide adequate security to the life and property of the people, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has said that there is no other option left for the citizens but to “think and prepare themselves for self-protection”.

    Mr Hussain was speaking on the phone from London to a meeting of the MQM coordination committee held here on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Karachi in the wake of several incidents of terrorism.

    He said the entire city was in the grip of armed terrorists and the citizens were left at their mercy, said a press release issued after the meeting.

    Mr Hussain condemned the attack on a cellphone franchise, killing of a doctor in Malir, three youths in North Karachi and the assassination of two women from Balochistan and their driver.

    He said he had been forewarning the nation that Karachi was being handed over to terrorists under a conspiracy. He regretted that he was not taken seriously and his warnings were instead ridiculed and the government and the administration did not pay attention to what he was saying.

    He said there was no other option left for the citizens but to prepare themselves for self-protection. If this was not done, the terrorists would become emboldened and more people would fall victim to terrorism, he added.

    He appealed to businessmen, traders and citizens to come forward to guard their streets, shops and workplaces against terrorists instead of solely depending on the police and the administration.

    Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has observed that the government and administration have failed to provide security to the people of the city and the citizens must learn to protect themselves by taking steps such as forming vigilance teams to keep a check on criminal activities in their respective localities.

    The MQM chief said this while addressing the party’s Rabita Committee members over the phone at Nine-Zero on Tuesday. Hussain condemned the unabated acts of terrorism in the city and said peace in Karachi was being disturbed under a conspiracy.

    He condemned the attack on the office of a mobile company, the killing of a doctor in Malir, the murder of three youths in North Karachi and the brutal assassination of two women from Balochistan along with their driver. Hussain said he had been warning the nation about these threats over the past few years and regretted that he had not been taken seriously. He said the government simply laughed at him and misled the nation.

    Altaf said the city was in the grip of armed terrorists and citizens had been left at their mercy. “The situation in Karachi is being subverted under a conspiracy.”

    The MQM chief said that on one hand, sectarian tensions were being fuelled in which innocent people were dying, while on the other, banks, business centres and shops were being attacked.

    He pointed out that on Tuesday, a doctor fell victim to the firing of criminals in Malir, while the office of a mobile company was attacked in broad daylight in Nazimabad. The MQM chief appealed to members of the business community, shopkeepers, traders and citizens to come forward and protect their streets, shops and businesses from the attacks of terrorists.

    Instead of relying solely on the police and the administration, people must take steps to help themselves, he urged. Vigilance committees should be formed and a system put in place to keep a watch on different localities.

    آج کے دور میں شیعہ قوم پر، ہر شیعہ فرد پر لازم ہے کہ اپنے ، اپنے خاندان اور اپنی قوم کے تحفظ کے لیے لائسنس یافتہ اسلحہ خریدے اور بوقت ضرورت استعمال کرے – ہم ناجائز اسلحہ رکھنا اور بلا وجہ تشدد کے خلاف ہیں لیکن حلال کی کمائی سے اسلحہ خریدنا ، حکومت سے اس کا لائسنس حاصل کرنا اور دہشت گردوں کے حملے کے وقت اس کا استعمال کرنا ہمارا قانونی حق ہے اور شرعی طور پر واجب بھی – یہ سنت امام مظلوم بھی ہے کہ تلوار کو اپنے دشمنوں کے خلاف استعمال کیا جائے – شیعہ نوجوانوں کو قانونی طور پر اسلحہ حاصل کر کے اس کی مکمل تربیت حاصل کرنا چاہیے – اس اسلحے سے ہم سپاہ صحابہ کے دہشت گردوں سے نہ صرف شیعہ قوم بلکہ دوسرے معصوم پاکستانیوں جن میں بے گناہ سنی ، احمدی، مسیحی وغیرہ شامل ہیں کا تحفظ بھی کر سکتے ہیں

    ہمیں اس امر کا احساس کرنا ہے کہ آج نہ مقتول کا صحیح تعین ہو رہا ہے نہ ہی قاتل کا – مقتول کا تعین صرف اور صرف شیعہ ہے – ہمیں کوئی ہماری زبان یا نسل (پشتون، پنجابی، مہاجر ، ہزارہ وغیرہ) کی وجہ سے نہیں مار رہا – آج شیعوں کو صرف ان کے عقیدے کی پاداش میں قتل کیا جا رہا ہے – اپنے اس تشخص کو کبھی فرموش نہ کریں نہ کسی کو شیعہ قوم کی قربانیوں پر نسلی یا لسانی پردہ ڈالنے دیں – شیعہ قوم کے قتل پر پردہ ڈالنے والے آئ ایس آئ اور سپاہ صحابہ کے ایجنٹ ہیں ان سے ہوشیار رہیں

    اس کے ساتھ ساتھ ہم نے ان مولویوں سے بھی ہوشیار رہنا ہے جو قاتلوں کی صحیح نشاندہی نہیں کر رہے – اس بات کو غور سے سمجھ لیجئے کہ آج شیعہ قوم کے قتل کی سو فی صد کار وائیوں میں انتہا پسند دیوبندی ملوث ہیں جو وہابی نہیں. پاکستان میں شیعوں کے قتل میں وہابیوں کا کوئی براہ راست کردار نہیں – ہاں سعودی عرب کی امداد ضرور آ رہی ہے لیکن مارنے والے وہابی نہیں، دیوبندی ہیں، اس فرق کو اچھی طرح سمجھ لیں – پاکستان میں وہابیوں کی تنظیمیں جماعت الدعوه ، جمیعت اہلحدیث وغیرہ شیعوں کے قتل میں ملوث نہیں – شیعوں کے قتل میں سپاہ صحابہ، جیش محمد، جنداللہ وغیرہ ملوث ہیں جو سب کی سب دیوبندی ہیں- – لیکن تمام دیوبندی دہشت گرد نہیں، دیوبندیوں کی اکثریت بریلویوں ، احمدیوں، شیعوں، سلفیوں کے طرح امن پسند ہے – یہ فقط آئ ایس آئ کے برین واشڈ جہادی دیوبندی ہیں جو شیعوں کا قتل عام کر رہے ہیں– ان دہشت گرد دیوبندی جماعتوں کے پیچھے امریکہ نہیں بلکہ پاکستان کی فوج کا ہاتھ ہے جو ان جماعتوں کے ذریعہ سے افغنستان ، انڈیا وغیرہ میں اپنے جہادی مقاصد حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہے – اس لیے شیعوں کے قتل کی ذمہ داری وہابیوں یا امریکہ پر ڈالنا حقیقت میں اصلی قاتلوں سے توجہ ہٹانا ہے

    آج کے دور میں سب سے نمایاں مثال دفاع پاکستان کونسل ہے جو در اصل اتحاد قاتلین شیعہ ہے – جاگو شیعہ جاگو – اپنے دشمن کو پہچانو – امریکہ ، روس اور اسرئیل کے جھنڈے جلانا چھوڑ کر کچھ عقل کا ساتھ دو – جو لوگ تم کو مار رہے ہیں ان کے خلاف بولو – سپاہ صحابہ بھی امریکہ کے جھنڈے جلا رہی ہے تم بھی امریکہ کے جھنڈے جلا رہے ہو – قاتل اور مقتول امریکہ پر الزام دھر رہے ہیں تاکہ قتل گمنام رہے اور اصلی قاتل بچے رہیں –

    تمہارا دشمن سنی نہیں، وہابی نہیں، عام دیوبندی بھی نہیں، یہودی نہیں، مسیحی یا ہندو نہیں – تمہارا دشمن تمھارے اپنے پاکستان کی فوج کے پالے ہوۓ جہادی فرقہ وارانہ برین واشڈ دیوبندی دہشت گرد ہیں – تمھارے دشمن وہ خفیہ ادارے ہیں آئ ایس آئ وغیرہ جو تمھارے قتل میں تمھارے قاتلوں کی مدد کر رہے ہیں – تمہارا دشمن وہ میڈیا ہے جو تنھارے قتل پر خاموش بیٹھا ہے – تمہارا دشمن وہ جج ہے جو سپاہ صحابہ کے دہشت گردوں کو رہا کر رہا ہے – تمہارا دشمن ملک کے باہر نہیں ملک کے اندر ہے – جب تک تم ایمانداری سے اور بہادری سے اس دشمن کا نام نہیں لو گے جب تک تم اس کے خلاف آواز بلند نہیں کرو گے تمہارا قتل عام ہوتا رہے گا

    جب تک ہمارے دھرنے آئ ایس آئ یا فوج کے ہیڈ کوارٹر کے سامنے نہیں ہوتے جب تک ہم سپاہ صحابہ مردہ باد کے ساتھ ساتھ جہادی دہشت گرد مردہ باد ، طالبان مردہ باد- دفاع پاکستان کونسل مردہ باد ، جماعت اسلامی مردہ باد، عمران خان مردہ باد- جہادی جنرل مردہ باد – جہادی جج مردہ باد اور آئ ایس آئ مرردہ باد کے نعرے بلند نہیں کرتے تب تک اسی طرح ہمارے قتل بھی ہوتے رہیں گے تذلیل بھی ہوتی رہے گی اور قاتل دندناتے بھی رہیں گے

    Who is killing Pakistani Shias? Sipah-e-Sahaba. Who made Sipah-e-Sahaba? Pakistan army (General Zia-ul-Haq). Who trained, equipped and protected Sipah-e-Sahaba? Pakistan army. Who let Sipah-e-Sahabas operate with a new name (ASWJ)? Pakistan army. Who is forcing judiciary to release arrested terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahab? Pakistan army. Who is forcing the police not to arrest Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists? Pakistan army. Who is killing Afghan Shias? Sipah-e-Sahaba. Who is attacking moderate Sunnis, Karzai government, USA-NATO forces in Afghanistan? Sipah-e-Sahaba (in support of Taliban). What is the sect of Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists? Deobandi. Who killed hundreds of moderate Sunnis and Barelvis in Pakistan? Sipah-e-Sahaba. Conclusion: Please do not blindly follow the Hazara, Iranian or American agenda. Our enemy is Sipah-e-Sahaba which is being protected and supported by none else than Pakistan army. Pakistan army is currently supporting anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-Iran Difa-e-Pakistan council and in that disguise is in fact enabling further massacres of Shias, Barelvis, Ahmadis, Christians etc.

    It is most necessary that keep respect for others believes in mind and heart. Keep shut mouth if any one have abusive feeling about other one, same in alone or at any ceremonies religious or else. Especially Shias abuse sunnies at their religious gathering.In encounter the SSP or else make terrifying attacks on them and took lives.Shias are muslims without any provision.
    The only thing by they killed is that shias abuse SAHABAs(companions of Prophet MUHAMMAD saw) whome sunnies respected very much.

    I request to admin to advise shias to keep their mouth shut and respect others too and stop abusing SAHABAs.
    The other one thing is that Shias should re-study the history themselves but not by their mullas only and stop weeping.

    Question: where were shias forefathers when Hazrat Hussain (AS) with 72 respected and honerable allies were martyred?

    Answers: They shut their doors off with locks and cowardly remain in their beds, Not gone forward to receive and escort the Imam Hussain (AS). even they didnt escort Hazrat Muslim (AS). In reality they did nothing. and now they are weeping upon.

    Stop writing articles and engaging medi,stop making ambiguous analysis. just keep mouth shut in Pakistan and respect your army.
