There is consistent and irrefutable evidence of Ejaz Chaudhry’s (Vice President and Incharge Youth and Students Affairs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) links with sectarian, terrorist organizations.

Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP aka LeJ) Lahore chapter has recently announced a religious seminar on 15 November 2011. Amongst the list of speakers is also the name of Mr. Ejaz Chaudhry, Vice President of Imran Khan’s PTI.

The PTI-AMTKN Connection

Previously Ejaz Chaudhry actively participated in another extremist organization’s (Aalmi Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nubuwwat – AMTKN) rallies in support of Mumtaz Qadri, the self-confessed killer of shaheed Salmaan Taseer. The AMTKN and SSP-LeJ are notorious because of their hate speech and acts of violence against Ahmadiyya Muslims.

According to a PTH post, “Ijaz Chaudhry took the podium at the rally in Lahore on Sunday and has declared that he speaks for Imran Khan when he says that 295 C is a settled matter in Pakistan and is a godly law that no one should dare touch.” (Source: PTH)

Ejaz Chaudary is known to be a focal person of PTI in Punjab. He is an ex-Jamaati and a great organizer. He did a great job during lawyers movement.

His discourse (e.g., involvement of CIA and RAW in the PNS Mehran attack, Xenophobia against USA and India) is not much different from the TTP-SSP-LeJ-JI rhetoric:

Blasphemy law: rally threatens long march
LAHORE, Jan 30: A big rally here on Sunday warned of a long march to Islamabad if the government attempted to amend the blasphemy law. A large number of charged activists of religious parties representing all schools of thought amid tight security marched from Nasser Bagh to Charing Cross on The Mall where leaders of mainstream parties like PML-N, PML-Q, PML-Z and Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf also joined them. Tehrik-i-Insaaf vice-president Ijaz Chaudhry pledged that his party would not allow any change in the blasphemy law. He demanded public execution of Raymond Davis. (Source)

WANA: Supreme commander of the banned outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Baitullah Mehsud visited different area of South Waziristan on Thursday. According to Taliban sources, Meshsud visited Makeen, Ladha, Badar, Salay Rogha and other areas.The tribesmen upon seeing the Taliban commander, fired their guns in the air.

President of Imran Khan’s Tehreek-i-Insaf South Waziristan, Toofan Burki garlanded Baitullah Mehsud and put traditional Pagri (turban) upon his head. (That tells why Imran Khan is most popular in Taliban and other terrorist organisations). Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said the electronic media is airing news regarding the death of Baitullah Mehsud, causing concern among the tribesmen.     Pakistan is awaiting some strong change to provide real justice to the people of Pakistan and it will happen only when the hearts of people will repent before Allah the exalted and beg thy mercy and sport only those who appose any kind of terrorism in any shape it may be and root it out of their personal life 1st and then alike minded get together and work for country not for self interest.then only will be the beginning of the dawn for Pakistan to regain its place in the whole world to play its role .

    Dancing to a drumbeat and waving the party’s red and green flags, supporters of PTI filled the sprawling Minar-e-Pakistan ground which was ringed with tight security. “Who will save Pakistan? Imran Khan, Imran Khan,” the crowd chanted. Some of the banners displayed on the entrance gates depicted Osama bin Laden, Aafia Siddiqui and Raymond Davis, while the venue itself was littered with banners displaying the PTI leader and Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

    The event was attended by many famous figures, both from within politics and without. PTI leaders Dr Arif Alvi, Mian Azhar, Saloni Bukhari, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mehmood ur Rasheed, Ahsan Rasheed, Fauzia Kasuri, Ejaz Chaudhry, Naeem ul Haq, Dr Murad Baloch, along with Imran Khan, addressed the gathering and urged the people to stand with PTI to bring about change in the political system, which they said was not giving the people of the country their due rights.

    The speakers declared that the rally was a ‘referendum’ against the sitting rulers and the corrupt political culture and system existing in the country.

    PTI Punjab leader Ahsan Rasheed told the gathering that PML-N Senator Pervez Rasheed had claimed that he would resign if Imran Khan succeeded in gathering only 50,000 people in his rally and demanded that he resign since around 500,000 people were participating in the PTI rally. Singers including Shehzad Rai, Shah Zaman and the band, Strings, performed on the occasion. Female participants also performed dances on Pashto and Urdu songs. Participant’s chanted slogans like “Ja Nawaz Ja Zardari Hun day sanu vari” and “Chor Daku ka ehtasab Tehreek-e-Insaf”.

    Some members of the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) also participated in the rally, along with a large number of students from Punjab University and other educational institutions. PTI leaders condemned the Punjab administration for blocking PTI caravans on the Gujranwala GT Road and the Saggian and Shahdara bridges and urged Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the IGP to immediately open the roads leading to the Minar-e-Pakistan.

    How is Imran Khan any different from the rest as he claims to be? He is to deliver ‘justice” ? Yeah right, so does everyone at present.

    A look into his team:

    “1) Abdul Rasheed Bhatti who has atleast 9 cases of murder and other crimes registered against him. He is known for his notorious activities.
    2.Abdul Aleem Khan known land mafia head in lahore who made billions in musharraf era through illegal means.
    3) Farooq Amjad Meer- PML Q MPA during 2002-2007close aide to Chaudharies.
    4) Zaheer Abbas Khokhar MNA on PPP ticket in 2002 then joined patriots on pressure from musharraf stays in power.
    5. Shahid Akram Bhinder – musharraf’s law minister during 2002-2007 and key actor for use of force against judges and their imprisonment”

    I was at Imran Khan’s rally. Hardly any Rafizi (Shia) dared to attend the great Sunni crowd.

    We will bring an Islamic welfare revolution in Pakistan Inshallah. Afghanistan and Pakistan will be a federation, there will be great cooperation between two leaders, Imran Khan and Mullah Omar Mujahid.

    Shias, Ahmadis can migrate to Iran and Israel respectively.

    I have full respect and regard for MR. Ejaz Chaudhry, he is best friend of Hafeezullah Khan niazi, who is Imran Khan’s sister’s husband. Mr. Chaudhry is also now very close to Imran Khan, so its our right to respect him, but i have heard some corruption allegations against Ejaz Chaudhry, how should i respond to them?

    More and More i have researched on the Party functioning, things have surfaced which points towards lack of transparency within the party. Mere slogans and jalsas will achieve nothing. PTI should not be made into a rant school. Omar Cheema is ill-equipped to present his views on talk shows. Even other representative focus more on rants. Sincerity of purpose is there for sure but it needs more to communicate and effectively run a movement. Even Imran Khan goes unprepared in the talk shows. It feels like PTI members are waiting for on the job training after sweeping the elections. The question is how can you run a government if you cannot manage a party. Leave aside the funding, I am talking about man-management. ISF workers seem like youngsters with a lot of passion but an IQ level in negative.

    To understand the issue, you have to know little bit of history.

    Jamaat-e-Ahmadya (Qadiani community) and ideological opponent of Imran Khan, when Imran says Allama Iqbal is my ideological leader which means NO one from Qadiaani community favour him. Please read the history to find out WHY?

    A minority of Shia community apposes Imran Khan due to his instance on talking/ negotiating to Taliban, this group is the list of his (Imran Khan’s) political opponent. Extreme Shia community and Extreme (Whabi/ Deubandi) are deeply against each other.

    Shia community has a militant wing (Spahe Mohammad) and Deubandi community has a political a militant wing (Spahe Suhaba), both groups are killing each other for decades. Taliban are mostly from Deubandi community which is why minority Shia people are against Imran Khan and PTI.

    Ejaz Chaudhary is only towing a party line to talk to everyone to bring a wide spread support for the change.

    Dont’ forget that the law and order situation in country will only improve if you bring people together on the table not with increasing the devision and letting them kill each other.

    Hope this brief answer will make things clear in your mind.

    Imran must also see who he is relying on for advice. The fact that he has surrounded himself with people who have a case to answer does not bode well. There is at least one senior office holder of the PTI who is accused of being friendly with a leading sectarian terrorist organisation, and a hawkess-extraordinary who whips out Pakistan’s bums at the drop of a hat as if they can be used, yes, at the drop of a hat.

    Ejaz condemns unfounded propaganda

    Islamabad, November 3:

    Ejaz Chaudhri, Vice President, PTI has condemned the unfounded propaganda doing rounds in various circles regarding his links with terrorists.

    In a statement issued from the party’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad, Ejaz Chaudhri contended that he had links with all such Muslim sects in Pakistan that were not involved in any terrorist activities. He was also in touch with Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and people belonging to any other religion.

    He also said that he regularly received invitations from various quarters, but he goes only to selected programmes. Talking about Islam, he always gave the message of peace and harmony that was advocated by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

    Contrary to the nefarious propaganda, he said that he had never received an invitation from the SSP. He said that he believed in Chairman PTI’s vision that we should build a new Pakistan based on the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

    Truck in the middle of the road. Decorated on all four sides with massive posters of Mumtaz Qadri. He is shown on a golden throne with a fat garland of roses around his neck. Beneath this image is a procession of dogs. All of them are expensive-looking German Shepherds. The dog on the extreme right has the head of the Pope attached to it. The dog on the extreme left has the head of Pastor Terry Jones attached to it

    ● Bright, mild day in Lahore. Not a lot of traffic on the canal. Every now and then you see a hurried wagon with a zebra-stripe flag hoisted atop it and trembling excitedly in the wind. The flag represents Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam party. Most of the passengers crammed into the wagons are teenage boys with white prayer caps on their heads.

    ● Mall Road has been blocked. You have to get off on Fain Road and walk to the rally. It’s like joining a river: the flow of people (all men) moves quickly and inexorably in one direction, which is forward.

    ● Banners everywhere with icon-like pictures of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman. The organizers of the rally had the whole night to hang these. Also on every other pole is a perfect cluster of four loudspeakers, each pointing in a different direction. Has the Punjab government ever allowed “liberal fascists” to take over Mall Road like this?

    ● The men in the rally are of all ages, ranging from the very young (children with their teeth barely out) to the very old (hunched babas with all their teeth knocked out). Some men wear village lungis while others wear crisply starched, pointy-collared, proudly urban awaami suits. The clean-shaven man walking next to you says he’s from Sargodha; the Pathaan youth walking ahead of you is from Nowshera.

    ● Truck in the middle of the road. Decorated on all four sides with massive posters of Mumtaz Qadri. He is shown on a golden throne with a fat garland of roses around his neck. Above him it says: “Hum apni jaanon ko bhi waarein ge, Saath aulaadon ko bhi waarein ge, Hamare jo aayein ge pehchaan mein, Vo dushman saarey maarein ge (InshaAllah)”. [We will surrender our lives, And our children too, And all the enemies we identify, We’ll kill them too (God-willing).]

    Beneath the enormous picture of Qadri is a procession of dogs. All of them are expensive-looking German Shepherds. The dog on the extreme right has the head of the Pope attached to it. The dog on the extreme left has the head of Pastor Terry Jones attached to it. Both “dogs” are wearing diamond-encrusted crosses in their necks (a sign of their Christianity, no doubt). Between the Pope and the pastor are two other dogs, these lying dead in pools of their own blood (their throats have been slit messily). A bright blue script beneath all the blood says: “Kutto ab tumhari baari hai!” [It’s your turn now, dogs!]

    A crowd has gathered around this oversized poster, which is proving quite attractive. Boys and men taking pictures of it with their mobile phones. The older men are staring more intently at the images, taking their time to make sense of them. Gathered right in front of the poster is a row of little boys in skullcaps. Their sweaters are tattered and their shoes are broken.

    One of the men comes forward and spits at the face of Terry Jones. The spit is like blood on the white man’s face. (It’s paan, really.)

    The little boys get inspired. One of them copies the man and tries to spit at the poster but his spit doesn’t reach the dogs. Another one tries; he’s successful. Now the boys get into a competition to see whose spit will go the farthest. Only a few succeed. The rest are blushing and giggling.

    ● You ask one of the boys: “Who are these men with the bodies of dogs?”

    He says: “It’s the same man. See? In one pose he has a mustache. In the other one he doesn’t.”

    He thinks Pope Benedict and Pastor Jones are the same man (white, Christian, dog) but in Before-and-After mode, like in an ad for a makeover.

    You ask: “Do you know this man’s name?”

    The child doesn’t.

    “Can you read?”

    He can’t.

    ● The loudspeakering starts. A man’s voice is telling everyone to sit down. Squatting rows form right away on the road. A sea of people. Even the traffic-obviating “bridge” overhead, usually so empty and forlorn-looking, is filled with people who are all leaning over the railings like eager passengers on a ship that is about to dock.

    ● The keynote speakers have all converged on some faraway truck that no one can see. But we can hear them from those loudspeakers: Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi is here, Imran Khan’s deputy from the Tehreek-e-Insaaf is here, Jamaat-ud-Daawa is here, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq is here. The first to speak is the PTI man. He says on behalf of Imran Khan (“Imran Khan ki taraf se…”) that the PTI will not tolerate any amendment to the blasphemy laws. (This is the opposite of what King Khan told his adoring British followers in The Guardian of London just a few weeks ago.) Quickly he moves from that to the Raymond Davis incident, saying that Muslims must also consider (in addition to theological issues) the very real dangers faced by poor people in Muslim societies today. This becomes a pattern: every speaker starts with the blasphemy law but ends with the American man’s killing of three people in Lahore.

    The most dramatic speech is by a Jamaat-ud-Dawa activist, who alternates between fiery threats (to the insulters of our religion) and heartrending sobs (when detailing the acts of desecration). He goes on to condemn the Americans who are “kicking” poor Muslims. “Now we will kick!” he cries. “Fazlur Rehman will kick! Samiul Haq will kick! India will be kicked! America will be kicked!” The audience is enjoying this speech; some of the boys exchange smiles of recognition (they seem to have heard this man many times before and are appreciating his return to form). The voice is shouting: “Tell me! Will you kick?” And the crowd roars back: “Yes! We will kick! We will kick!”

    ● The last speaker you hear is Ejaz-ul-Haq. He doesn’t have anything incendiary to say. But he’s trying to give his voice that necessary inflection. He tries. “They say,” he says ominously, “that this law was brought about by a dictator, that this is a dictator’s law…” The pitch of his voice is climbing, and you can tell he’s approaching a punch line. “But I want to tell them,” he cries, “that this is not a dictator’s law. This is not a dictator’s law! This is Allah’s law!”

    ● After that part about Gen Zia’s laws being Allah’s laws, you feel like you can’t stay here any longer. As you walk away from the rally you see groups of middle-aged men with beards and skullcaps sitting with their children on the emptied sidewalks. They too have come from all over the province to attend this rally, and they won’t waste their chance to get a taste of Lahore: they are all slowly and exactingly eating bright pink strawberry ice cream out of white paper cups. It’s a Sunday after all.
